Make your own virtual choir videos in 3 easy steps

  1. Create a reference track and have all your performers record their parts.
  2. Copy all your tracks to a google drive shared folder.
  3. Fill out and submit the: Virtual Choir Maker Request Form

That’s it! Your final video will be emailed to you.

Due to lack of use (i.e. nothing in quite a while) I am decommissioning the virtual choir service. If you would like to try this software out or see what results you can get with your own videos you have a couple options:

  • Visit the software github repository and download, install, and run it yourself (requires some python setup and runs as a python script): https://github.com/clolsonus/VirtualChoir

  • Contact me and ask nicely for help. :-)

This project brought me great joy during the covid shutdown when it was busy and cranking out new music and videos just about every day. I’m sad that it doesn’t get used any more, but I am happy that the reason it’s not used any more is that choirs are mostly back to singing together again in person.
